Sr Małgorzata (Margaret) Kozub
Provincial Leader

Sister Małgorzata (Margaret) Kozub was born in Poland. In 1991 she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in the Krakow Province. She professed her final vows in 1999.

Sister’s ministry in Poland included teaching and pastoral work in a number of schools and parishes. Sister discerned the possibilities of her ministry in the Congregation and volunteered for the Congregational Program for Mission, resulting in her transfer from Poland to Australia in 2006.

Her Australian journey has connected her with many people. Initially, Sister was engaged in ministries in the field of childcare. Later, she worked in vocation ministries within the Australian Province and then became responsible for the initial stage of formation, which introduces young women that enter the Congregation in Australia. From 2015 to 2018, she also worked as the Vocations Promoter for the Diocese of Broken Bay. In 2019, Sister commenced her new role as the Director of Mission at Holy Family Services, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in Aged Care.

In October 2019, Sister began serving the Congregation as Provincial Leader of the Holy Spirit Province in Australia. Her role is to oversee and support Sisters in their life and ministry, and to provide leadership of the Holy Family Services Board.

She enjoys reading, music and hiking. Her life’s passion is to accompany people in their faith journey; walking with them and just being with them wherever they are in their life.
