Sr. Christine spent time on retreat, reflecting on her journey and deepening her commitment to her vocation. Prior to the Manila celebration, she also dedicated a week to family and participated in a six-day retreat at the Bethany Retreat House in Quezon City with Fr. Faiq Edmerson Quinto, OSJ. This time of contemplation allowed both Sisters to center themselves spiritually and appreciate the profound significance of this milestone. The retreat experience served as a reminder of their purpose and the call they have embraced.
The highlights of their Jubilee celebrations were rich and diverse. For Sr. Christine, reuniting with her formation sisters was a deeply moving experience. She expressed gratitude for the presence of family members who travelled to share in the joy, as well as the friends from Australia who joined the celebration. For Sr. Jeremiah, the gathering of relatives, Sisters from the Philippine Province, and old acquaintances rekindled her passion and commitment to her vocation.
Looking ahead, both Sisters are excited about their upcoming Silver Jubilee celebration in the Holy Spirit Province, Australia. They plan to hold a special Mass at the Polish War Memorial Chapel in Marayong with Rev. Bishop Brian Mascord, DD, as the main celebrant, followed by a fellowship that will include Provincial Superiors from various countries who are coming to Australia for their annual gathering, Sisters from different convents, and young adults considering a religious vocation. This gathering will not only be a celebration of their journey but also an opportunity to inspire others and express gratitude for the community that has been pivotal in their lives.
